1. If you are travelling outside 3G broadband areas, Vodafone’s 2G (GPRS) network will cover 97% of the places people live and work in New Zealand. However, you will experience considerably slower speeds when connecting onto the GPRS network. Customers can expect broadband speeds between 800 kbps and 1.4 Mbps in 3G areas, peaking at 3.6 Mbps, and non broadband average speeds in GSM only coverage areas.
